About an hour and a half before tip off. About to fire up the grill and open me a beer :D
Any predictions for tonight? Kobe doesn't look like he's been playing to well lately. Lamar Odom (right knee) and Chris Mihm (right ankle) are both out. Mavs look healthy. Wonder when DJ will get some playing time?
Should be a good game. I have a feeling Kobe is going to try to break out this game and put up some big numbers.

He always seems to find a way to get fired up about the Mavs.

Further making matters worse is that Kobe only scored 8 points in his last game. He'll be looking to a comback night. Crazy thing is, he AND Lebron only scored 8 points on Friday night. Unusual that you have 2 beasts like that not even get into double digits on the same night.
If the Mavs get past the Lakers tonight, they should be able to take out the Jazz. Revenge will be on their mind plus the Jazz have slipped just slightly lately. Or maybe not. The Mavs have made it look like everyone is slipping. :) After Utah, I predict the Mavs might have a letdown game to break the streak. The further it goes, the more the odds stack up.

yeah, personally i dont like the winning streaks when they get too big for breaking records. to much hype and shit like that is on the players minds and not playing the fundamentals of the sport

Mavs doing ok so far...started out kind of slow and were down by 11 in the 1st period, but have come back and lead 51-48 at the half. Mavs have done a good job on Kobe so far, only giving up 8 points on 4/10 shooting.

Mavs had a great comeback after the First Quarter. Second Half looks to be going good so far. Dirk looks to be on his way to another monster night and can't be stopped.

Looks like Diop needs some ball practice like Damp got before the season started from Popey Jones. He's really missed some key rebounds because he couldn't hold onto the damn rock

6:36 to go in the game...Mavs up 86-81, but the Lakers aren't going away and Kobe's been making his shots. This one will go down to the wire it looks like.

Nice shot by Harris. He doesn't hit that shot last year.
I'd like to see JET get on track here at the end. He's been way off the mark tonight...even had an air ball.

Not the greatest sporting weekend for Dallas teams. :(

Ok, is it just me or did they not foul the crap out of Jet on the layup on our next to last possession?

I was thinking the same thing. Unless they got all ball. But with that many Lakers around him I can't think that one of them didn't knock Terry down
Glad to get the streak monkey off our back and get on with things. I knew tonight would be hard but was hoping to pull off a win somehow. Can't say it was Kobe that did it to us either.
