Other than the military, have any of you guys been to any Advanced Weapons/Tactical training?

If so, where did you go?

Thats what I thought. I couldnt believe the things I learned through advanced training.

My work pays for it, so its still free :D

I have attended a SWAT training school put on by our SWAT team. I have dynamic entry training and will probably get the AR-15 training when I can.

My assignment at the time, 6 years ago, dictated that I be SWAT and dynamic entry trained.

I forgot all about this thread :D

As far as the job goes, I cant tell you guys where I work because of a confidentiality agreement. If you wanted to work here you would have to have some type of experience with EP or PSD while in the military or SWAT. Some of our guys are SF and the others are combat savvy (mostly Marines). I'm actually one of two weapons/training instructors we have here for our teams.

Get trained by a real life Delta operator. You know you're badass when William Fichtner plays you in a Ridley Scott movie (Black Hawk Down). Sfc. Jeff Sanderson = the real life Sfc. Paul Howe.

Paul is a cool cat and so is Jim Smith

Both are Delta Dogs. Jim actually wrote the FAM shooting program (one of the best in the world). Jims training is mainly on the Gov side.
