Whats the average price of an extended swingarm. Looking to get another GSX 1000R and want to stretch it out. Do thry sell the complete kit or do I have to have a chain made? Thanks

it all depends on how you want to do it, you can actually have the swing arm stretched or you can just buy extenders. extenders are a very stupid way to go. if your going to do it then get it done right and have the swing arm stretched. you'll have to get a chain. my buddy owns a shop and if you want me to ask him what he would charge i can ask him. he does very bad ass work and is usually pretty cheap

Thanks for the info. I thought it was a prefabricated piece you can buy. I'm back in Florida now, so I guess I will have to find someone around here to do it.

you can usually buy them pre fabbed but it is cheaper to have your actual swing arm stretched. it saves from havin to buy the whole kit. a total price for my bike was like 1500 for the swing arm, the extended steel braided brake lines and the extended chain, but my buddy did it for 700 total. and that was having it sent off to be stretched and the lines and chain

Go to www.suzukihayabusa.org there is a guy on there Antdogg that sells then in the Advertiser Section.

He can extend a factory one, or build you a custom one with whatever stretch you want, nitrous mount, underbracing etc.
