Tire shine and wheel cleaner?

What steps do you guys use when doing your wheels and tires? I spray on wheel cleaner then hose it off BEFORE I wash the rest of my car b/c I've found if I do it at the end I get it on my freshly washed car. I go back at the end with a cotton towel and clean up any remaining water spots. I have chrome z06 stockers. Also, with tire wet, how do you handle that? I have almost just given up b/c everytime I use any tire wet, it oversprays all over my car and I have to go back and hit the fenders etc. again.

spray with cheap tire cleaner from big lots and let sit for 30 seconds and use a steel brush (mine arent chrome though...) to agitate the brake dust/dirt and wash off with water and then spray meguires hot tire cleaner and clean the rest of the car and soap wheels last

if u use the foam stuff like the meguires foam stuff, it shouldnt get on your fenders... if u still have a problem u can always use a foam tire aplicator to put it on. just spray wet tire on the black foam part and put it on there! it unfortunatly takes many aplications this way as apposed to spray or foam but wutever works for you

I haven't played with Tire Wet. But if you can, get an applicator pad and spray your product directly on your pad, then wipe your pad on the tire surface. May take a little more effort, but you won't get any overspray.
