i switched computers, so i moved my dvd/cd-r combo from my HP to my Dell. well, i can't find my disc for the drivers for the dvd player, and i can't watch dvds on it. it was powered by Power DVD, has anyone heard of it? it is an LG combo drive. i tried puting interactual player on it, but it says i need to change my resolution
i had no problem with it in my HP

cd and dvd drives dont need drivers. power dvd is just software. if your interactual doesnt work, power dvd would probably not work either. are your video drivers up to date or even installed?

well, interactual started to work then stopped. should i check with Nvidia for updates? i just think that it is weird that it worked no problem in my HP but not in my Dell
EDIT: i was just thinking about maybe just getting a dvd burner for it. i also heard that a dvd burner will also burn c.d.s

Thats right, but it will probably not solve your problem with playing DVDs.
