How the hell did you do that, I don't see any options for it? I got it connected to my wireless network, and can get the weather and shit.

Are there any USB ports? I use a keyboard and mouse with my PS3.

There are 2, but currently no support for keyboard/mouse, though a wiimote keyboard add-on is rumored to be on the way, at which point I suspect a standard keyboard/mouse will be usable as well.
Not really that much of a pain in the ass to use the onscreen keyboard though, with the wiimote. It's much like hunt & peck typing. It's also got predictive typing (somewhat like T9 texting), so that helps out aswell. It's infinitely better than using a controller and scrolling over letters, definitely.

Not I. Most of the wiihaveaproblem.com reports have been exposed as fakes. Very few legitimate cases of the straps breaking. The straps require in excess of 100lbs of pressure to break... that takes some seriously HARD throwing to produce. Even if it accidentally slips in normal gameplay, the strap should be more than adequate, unless you're being stupid and trying to break it.
I've had 5+ hour Wii Sports marathons with friends. Not so much as a slip. Then again, we don't play like this: http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2006/11/29 ... so perhaps that could explain some things.
I had it over at the parents for xmas, with some kids/cousins/neices/nephews clamoring to play. Not even a single slip out of their hands, much less sending one flying.

I let mine go and when the strap broke it didnt even slow down the wiimote. They are slick, and my hands sweat, even when holding my cellphone. I was thinking the same thing untill that fucker when flying.

Count me in as another guy who broke two straps on two different controllers, within a 3 hour span. (First day I had ever played)
The first one wasnt that bad. It hit the coffee table, and then ricochet'd into my entertainment system.
The second one was a bit more damaging. It first hit... my recliner, then took a bee line to the ceiling, bounced off the ceiling, and drilled the tv. The controller looked a little out of whack, and it no longer works.

And you didn't stop to think, while your hands started getting sweaty... that you should maybe ... I dunno, wipe them off?
I'll sweat, sitting still, if the temp goes over 75. I'm just hot natured.
It just takes some common sense.

Ok... seriously... are you understanding what you're writing? Chair, to cieling, to TV?! You are swinging WAY too hard.
You'd think after the first one, that you'd kinda chill out and not swing so hard. I play using full motions, but goddamn, I don't try to rip my arm out of socket.

i'm really impressed with the Wii.
hell, and you actually get exercise while playing games instead of sitting in a chair being a vegetable.

browser just got an impressive update. removable nav bar, fills entire screen, faster, more zoom levels, etc.
posting from it while testing it out :)
btw, this is the official release, not a beta like the initial one.

yeah I updated last night. Seems to be a lot more polished. Still sort of a novelty but at least it works better.
