Looks like Kawasaki is doing away with the 636 for 2007. I'm really digging the new body work, looks good.

that bitch is ugly, im sorry. i never got into the tail lights of the Zx14, and this just makes it worse, at least the 14 is fast enough the lights dont matter. and that huge muffler/cat/whatever sticking out the bottom is nasty. I still like the '03s

The front end is borderline, makes me want to say ORLY? the ass end is horrible. I"m glad I got my 06 when I did, but I would gladly trade up to the 10R :D

It justs amazes me how far people can lean those bikes over into a turn. seems like the tires would slip out from under the bike giving the degree of the lean.

i definitely think its a step back for kawasaki in the design department. at the same time i like the idea of them going back to the original 600 and going heads up with the powertrain r&d departments of the other brands.

the seat angle on kawasaki's have always been "unforgiving to that region"

03-04 zx6r's are notoriously criticized for their front to back angle and "intruding" rear tank point. Ask anyone who has owned one. The orange 04 is a stunning bike though.

oh, ok. i have ridden a friends 04' 636, but i only rode for about 20-30 mins and i was too busy just getting familiar with the bike to notice

yeah, thats why the 05-06 were so highly praised in the mags, they have all the features of the 03-04 but in a more comfortable package, plus it looks better(I might be biased however :D)

It will still be the best selling bike they have.

This makes it more likely for racers to ride Kawis. Most weekend warrior racers build their bikes from something that was a wrecked streetbike or at least something used that's easy to find. Not many people are willing to shell out nearly 10K for a homologation special then turn it into a race bike.

For 10K you can build a race bike from a wrecked bike, get a trailer, buy gear, a few sets of tires, and a few weekends of race expenses.

Are you saying this bike cost 10k? I only paid $10,600 otd for my 06' ZX10, I surely hope there not charging 10k for this 600.

BTW: I Like it, if I owned another 600 it would be between this and the R6, Most likely the Kawi since I have become a fan of there reliability having owned a Kawi liter bike for the past 3 years that I have literally rode the crap out of and it just keeps performing like new. ;)

636 or not, if it's from Kawi it will have class leading power. I like it.

Probably true since it's all new but the 07 ZX10's are already at the dealers, of course they just had some new paint. No major changes.
