My friend's dirtbike cylinder walls are toast, and needs to see if it would be cheaper to have a new sleeve installed. The other option is to bya another cylinder which cost $375.
The bike is a 2001 100cc Kawasaki 2 stroke.

If its Nikasil plateing you have to send it off for a new sleeve. Cheapest place I found is www.lukesracing.com $150 if you take the powervalve out. Takes about 10 days. Or you can try and hone it if its not to bad.

I just got off the phone with my friend and he said his main concern is the head. It has a chip missing out of it. I also found out that his motor is a KE100; which means 98% of the aftermarket parts out there wont work on his motor. :o
He will go to SLM after he gets off of work.
