Shopping for a new 19" monitor for my PC, but I donot know what 4ms response time or 1440x900 or 500:1 contrast mean.
Circuitcity has Samsung 19"widescreen LCD sell for $220 my price range,
or should I look for something else..
Thanks, riche

For the most part ignore all those stats. There isn't any industry standards for measuring either contrast or response time so companies tend to bump the stats .

I would choose your price range, and then visually compare the pictures/features.

The dell displays are a good choice IMO and there are some really good deals to be had on them.

I have an almost brand new Dell 19" 1907 FP that I'll let go for $150. It's just sitting in my house next to an identical one from when I was running a dual monitor setup. Send me a PM if you're interested.
