Riced up my AK this weekend a little. I'm sure i'll get flamed for scoping an AK, but god dammit i cant see through iron sights worth a shit with my right eye, and i can't shoot lefty, so that's my reasoning. I think it looks badass anyway. Also, i had my buddy stain the wood on it and refinish the rest in H&K Gloss Black too. Fuckin romanian AK's aren't exactly known for their nice finish. looks fucking badass now! I picked up a chunk of wood to carve a contoured grip for it too, he's been doing a few and they're awesome.

the m-79 (grenade launcher) My unit still uses those. We keep them by the back door in our MRAPS, and in the turret when we roll in HMMWVs. They are all old vietnam era, but when the Army collected them all up, they came to us, and the other special operations units. I shot one as early as just 2 weeks ago.

the m-79 (grenade launcher) My unit still uses those. We keep them by the back door in our MRAPS, and in the turret when we roll in HMMWVs. They are all old vietnam era, but when the Army collected them all up, they came to us, and the other special operations units. I shot one as early as just 2 weeks ago.

It's a reference to a few stories on the net where some people have claimed falsely (alleged, of course) that they had lost their guns in a boating accident. This was to fend off the Obamanites when they come to get your guns after you refuse to claim them on your tax form.

I think the stories are real though. ;)

my pops just bought a US Optic scoped POF in 5.56 and he has a .308 POF on order. I should be able to get some pics of those in December when he comes to town. I am envious of them.

It is a Remington 700 XCR in .308. I was in the market for the PSS but they made me a deal on that instead. The scope is a Leupold Mark IV 6.5-24X50 (I think, I have not touched it in months).

The XCR is a Remington tuned up 700, for what that is worth and in a Bell & Carlson stock. I would much rather have a McMillian A5 stock for it though. I had that stock on a .300wsm and it was fine like a woman's smooth ass.

I am 1/2MOA with my DPMS .223 and getting smaller.

Its suppose to be 1/2 MOA, but I tried sighting in the scope using two different ammo's -Hornady match 308 and surplus 7.62, so with it sighted for both it suites my needs. Hornady for hunting, and surplus for messing around.

stripped lower from gun show, plus parts kit. Plan on getting the Timney drop trigger now. The stock trigger works, but i'd like to see how the Timney compares.

I think I am going to dump one of them and buy a Henry lever .22. I bought the two with the standard barrels on a whim, the stainless one ran me $119.99 plus tax and the blued one ran me $130 ... I just havent done anything with them.

I gotcha, I saw the thread you posted about that deal you got for $119, hell of a find.

And if I were you I would look at the browning lever 22s. The quality is much better than the Henrys, and the sights are much better IMO.

I would love to get one of those but they are just a bit more than I want to spend. I can get the Henry for around $250 delivered and the Browning is aroung $460 delivered.
