error loading O.S help! please

ok peeps one of my fears came true , my computer has gone bad on me! i turn it on this morning, to work on sum music and i got the lil message [font=Tahoma][size=4]Error Loading Operating System! [size=2]i tryed to reinstall xp on there but everytime, it goes thru the proccess of installing after it say its restarting the computer it take me back to the same message? is it how my bois is set up? please help! i have tone of work on this thing![/size][/size][/font]

Sounds like a bad drive. Or you do not have the drive selected in the BIOS to boot from. If you played around in there. If you reinstalled xp and formatted the drive correctly your information is lost anyway. So you screwed up any recovery method.

ok well when i go into bios and go to Cmos set up it read the drive
