Definitely one of my top 10 favorite cars that I've worked on! I enjoyed every second that I put into this car. I was going for a 100% defect free finish, but ended up with about 90%-95%. There were just a few scratches that I couldn't get out. Beautiful car Kelly!

No wet sanding. Just working compounds to take out the swirls.

I had some nervous energy to work off before I had surgery so I decieded to detail my black stang....I worked on it for two days straight for about 12-13 hours so I know that you worked hard on that car...and its so worth it

Nothing give me greater pleasure than to walk away from a car that I've just spent countless hours on, and the owners jaw dropping at the results. On this Viper, Kelly told me that after I was finished, he noticed a metallic flake in the paint that he's never seen before.
No matter how sore I am the day after, I love what I do and can't wait to start the next vehicle! :D

dude if you spent 15 hours on a car that is ridicolous.. I took a swirled to hell black g35 slicked the paint job out to where it looked like glass. only took me 4 - 5 hrs. and the car was 98% show car quality.. then again ive probably been detailing, buffing, preping show cars for shows longer then you have :P

but hey you did a good job, just took way to long if you ask me..

Looks great Nick, how much for a black Aluminum Porsche with some swirls from a buffer(THAKS PARK PLACE). I don't want you to wax it, just get the swirls out, and I can do the claying, and waxing... :confused:

Also, could probably use it on both of my Stangs as well... can I get a package deal? :D

lol, swirl removal is just in what you use. the right tools makes it easy. i use poorboys ,clearkote, and optimum all with a 7424 makes it easy

I prefer to take my time with my work and not rush it. If you can do it 4 hours, then more power to you. I work every square inch of a car, and do everything I can to make the paint is as perfect as it can be. This takes time. My customers like the fact that I don't rush the work, and I spend the time to make sure it's done right. I've been detailing cars for 15 years now, and have never had to go back and redo any vehicle. Does every car take me this long? No. I have finished several cars in under 6 hours.

This car didn't take me 15 hours just to buff the paint out. Some of that time was washing/drying and prep work that I like to do, like taping up the vehicle to avoid getting splatter in those tight little spots. I don't rush any part of my work, so if someone is wanting their car finished in 4 hours, then I'm probably not the right guy for the job and I will tell you that right upfront.

I only responded to this guy because he was trying to insult my work. I am a advertiser here on DFWstangs, and I use post like this to further advertise my business. People see the results, and they know what I can provide for them. When Shizzzle tried to insult my work, I felt I needed to respond, maybe defend myself. He had absolutely no reason to do this except to try and hurt my business(why?).
I don't want this to turn into a smack forum thread. So, can we please just let it go? No disrespect to anyone, I just don't want this to turn into a 4 page smack-a-thon. Like I said, this is how I advertise my business.

I don't do this work to pay the bills. I have a full time job that pays my bills very well. I do it because I truely love it, and it gives me great satisfaction.

j.w. i saw the conv. viper ...btw car looks great..but i didnt if u have done it or know how...but like when the convertable tops get really dirty or kinda fade...is there any way to fix that? or and techniques that you know of?
