I just wanted to vent about some B/S that happend in my fantasy league this week. This the last week of the regular season in most leagues, so I was looking to pick a better QB for my playoffs, especially since mine got benched.

Anyway I submit my transaction to the commish, and he tells me that I cant get the guy i want because the guy i play this week put in for him first. Now normally i wouldn't have a problem with this, but it's the last week of the season, and the team that actually got the QB i wanted has no chance to make the playoffs, so i got screwd out of player just so he could lose this week and not make the playoffs anyway.

I know that was long winded and pretty much pointless, just wanted to vent.

Sounds like he just has the waiver priority over you...has nothing to do with him and you playing each other this week.

That's what you get for playing Jake Plummer anyway. ;)

I am still debating whether I should sit Tiki Barber in favor of Addai of Indy. I am thinking that the Cowboys might slow Barber down this time and Tennessee does not have a strong run defense, so I think addai might do ok.

I was leaning that way....I have to win this week. I am in 4th place in my division with 7-5 record. 8-3-1, 8-4, 7-4-1 are the records of teams ahead of me and I play one of those teams this week and another one next week.

hey question I have Mcgahee, Carnell williams and Jones-Drew at RB...Starting Williams and McGahee. Had ronnie brown but got hurt .. think Im making the right decision at RB?? I NEED TO WIN THIS WEEK!

I say addai and chargers... But Dallas HAS been consistant, however San Diego gets Merriman back

I typically don't like divisional matchups because you never know which way the game is going to go. This game is more important for the Giants, so I would venture to say starting the Cowboys D over the Chargers D would be a mistake.

Isn't Jones-Drew Carnell Williams' backup? McGahee probably won't do too well against the Chargers, but might get a TD or two.

Your recievers are tough because last time I checked Cotchery was hurt. Tom Brady spreads the ball out a lot and I wouldn't play any recievers on his team. That leaves you with Chambers.

I would put in Jones-Drew over Williams and Cotchery I might favor at WR over the other two.

Jefebk: I would also start Addai & the Cowboys defense. Expect Addai to get more touches since Indy's 3rd receiver option TE D.Clark is out. Eli has been horrible and I expect the boys D to beat him up. The bolt's D really can't stop anybody, and Mcgahee looks good since he returned.

Lol, I can respect that. However, both Romo & Brees are in the zone. Romo had an extraordinary game last week, and could possibly have another one this week.

Brees has thrown for over 300 yards 5 games straight. Romo has had one big fantasy game. I hate the Cowboys though, so I probably would never start Romo anyway. If you're smart, you'd start Brees. He's putting up HUGE numbers and getting tons of fantasy points.

your right about him being ahead in waiver posission, I was just pissed that the guy has no chance of making the playoffs and is still picking up players that could be very valuable in the fantasy post-season. Oh well nothing i can do about it now.
