Defending champs shut out TWICE?
That is some pathetic gameplay right there. Actually, they're playing the same this year as last, except that their opponents aren't playing down to them.

I remember that Roethlis-burger combo they were selling in PA last year. I think they've had all of that meal they can stand by now. :D

The Steelers will always suck. Ben has always sucked. Shit, he sucked last year too. He just had a supporting cast that was good enough to make him not look like the fucking loser he is.

Funny that I didn't see them sucking in the 70s...
Was also funny that his "supporting cast" only included 1 receiver and a running back used soley as a 3rd down back. I'm not saying that either of these players weren't good, as that's exactly the opposite, I'm just saying that most of the team from last year is still there.
How old are you anyways? You act like you're 5, so that tells me you weren't even around to see the Steelers destroy the Cowboys in the 70s... Why all the hostility? :)

There's a chick here in my office who's heartbroken that the steelers aren't going anywhere this year. After last week, she tore down her copy of the team schedule and is slowly taking her memorabelia down now that we're givin' her shit about it.

35-31 and 21-17 (http://www.superbowl.com/history/boxscores) is "destruction?" That's not nearly as bad as ... 27-0. :)

I didn't say that I was around to witness it either, Danny. I just wonder the reasoning for Cowboys fans hating the Steelers when they weren't even around for the 70s...
I've stated my reasons for hating the Cowboys more than once, none of it has to do with Super Bowl XXX.

I just wonder the reasoning for Cowboys fans hating the Steelers when they weren't even around for the 70s...I didn't have anything against them until I saw them limp into the playoffs last year, win four games they shouldn't have, and take the title with the poorest QB performance to EVER win a SB.
I know that "great teams make their opponents play poorly" but that wasn't the case in last year's playoffs. They really did get handed every victory by the pathetic play of the other teams. I was in disbelief the whole postseason.
I'm glad for you that your team won, but it made me sick. I'm glad that their record is more indicative of their performance this year. I hate to see Troy Polamalu (sp?) out though, he is a great player. The best Steeler IMO. Bettis sucked balls last year, I couldn't believe how everyone was kissing his ass and sucking him off.
Did I mention... GO COWBOYS!! :D

She can say different all she wants. If she starts taking shit down because the Steelers are losing and people are giving her shit for it, she's not a fan. If people give me shit for it, I either suck it up and admit it, tell them to fuck off, or both.

Danny pretty much summed up what I had to say. Yeah, the Steelers DESTROYED the Cowboys. By four points. Whoopdeemotherfuckingdoo. That's not a beating, by any stretch of the imagination. I wasn't around for the 70's, so I really don't give a shit what happened then. The thing is, the Steelers haven't been shit since then. Do you honestly think the Steelers deserved their SB win last year? Go on, further prove what a bloody dickbag you really are.

While they might not have been the best team in the playoffs (as a matter of fact, they were the last seed), they beat the Bengals (say all you want about Carson getting hurt, blah blah blah... Bengals were still ahead at halftime), beat the Colts (or did the Colts beat themselves like Tony's onion.com article suggests? a little of both.), beat the Broncos, and then managed to beat the Seahawks even with a pathetic performance.
To answer your question on did they deserve to win... to that, I say "Fuck yes."
You are basically saying that if another team doesn't show up to play, that team DOES deserve to win? I don't see your logic.

Off subject, but I was just looking at the QB ratings and stats on ESPN, and I'm shocked to see so many people with more sacks than Big Ben.
Frye with 43.
Kitna & Walter both with 41.
And Bulger with 37.
I'll respond to your post in a few, Geof.

Ben doesn't get sacked as much as others, but has thrown the most interceptions. :o

Hold on there, dude.
Isn't it a little difficult to say he doesn't get sacked as much as others, when he got sacked nine fucking times yesterday? That's gotta be some sort of record or something. He pulled a Bledsoe. haha!
