Pats up 17-13 with under 2 to go. Need a 1st down and the game is over and they freakin fumble the ball. Now Chicago just needs a TD to win and on the very first play, they throw an INT. NE wins 17-13!

Why Lovie Smith went for a FG instead of a TD in the 4th is beyond me. A FG does nothing when you are down 7 as you still need a TD to pull ahead. If you don't convert, you still pin them deep in their own territory. Definately a coaching blunder.

I guess he believes that his defense can get him the ball back, I think his coaching blunder was at the end when they are moving the ball and he goes for a deep ball only to get it INT'd  ...'H'

I think that would be putting a bit too much faith into that defense, even though they did get the ball back.
