Mavs have improved much since their first meeting. I took the Spurs then, I'm saying the Mavs take this one.

Mavs off to a nice start. They started out up 8-3 and are now up 22-15. JHo is also back tonight.

Mavs now up by 13, 32-19. Dirk is hot so far with 10 points.

Mavs really playing agressive now. Mavs up 35-19 with :35 left in the 1st.

And the Mavs finish the 1st period up 37-21. WOW. That said, I bet the Mavs still might not break 100 points for the game. POP will get on the team and they will tighten the screws defensively.

Mavs have hit a little bit of a drought in the 2nd Q, but we're still up 52-40 with 2:57 left before the half.

First half over and the Mavs finished with good energy. Spurs managed to close the gap a bit, but Mavs still up 59-50. Should be an interesting 2nd half. Parker has 3 fouls already, so 1 advantage for the Mavs if they decide to stay aggressive.

Spurs climbed the mountain in the 3rd period. Started down by 9, closed to within 3, then went back down by 9 and made a run to end the 3rd. Spurs up 75-74 to start the 4th.

Gin-blo-me went out at the very end of the 3rd after landing on his back pretty hard.

WOWE what a game! it felt just like the playoffs game last year. Good thing the mavs won! its 8 in a row now.

They disallowed the shot by the Spurs at the end of the 3rd - it came after the buzzer...big 2 points that turned out to be. Great 4th Q with a few questionable calls, but I believe they all evened out. Mavs win 95-92! I pronounce the Mavs back from the dead!

i watched the game, and felt like we outplayed the spurs and the score consistently reflected that.

GO MAVS!It was funny as hell... If you watched the game on Ch 21, after the final horn, the camera zoomed in on a Mavs fan holding a blown up picture of Gin-blo-me's hand clearly on Dirk's wrist (the foul) in last year's playoffs. I think many a Spurs fan whined about that call last year.
