WHOOP!!!!!!!! Just wanted to say congrats to my Aggies.

LOL at all the arrogant Longhorns (cough Nate, Hookem Jr, cough) that thought this would be a blowout. Everyone thought we couldn't run the ball on Tu and we shoved it down their holes all day.

On a side note, I hope McCoy isn't seriously injured. I never like to see guys get hurt. All in all, I thought the Ags did what they needed to do to win. They won the turnover battle, won time of possession, and rushed for a crap load of yards. Congrats to my Ags. It's a long overdue victory. Maybe it's a sign of things to come. :)

David, i'll have an avatar for you asap. ;)

Whoop!!! Gig 'em.

Man, if the Mavs can beat the Dirty Sanchez's tonight in SA my day would be perfect. GO MAVS!!!

It went both ways. It's funny when A&M wins against the whorns in anything they somehow do it without class. Give me a fuckin' break. I guess the whorn's "moral" victory was they lost with class today.

Some of you guys can dish out but can't take it when it doesn't go your way.

The first hit was a cheap shot, but is that the one that took him out of the game?? NO!!!

The hit that took him out of the game was just football. So why cry about the cheap shot? He still was playing after that one!!

I say it was a good win but the big 12 this year we have beat up on each other a little too much this year, and that first hit on colt mccoy happens just about every play of the game where someone away from the ball get hit from the blindside just because he is showing intrest in the play ahead of him , it was way too late , but not as big of a hit than the bennet hit on colt... :D

Wow, you guys are fucking classless! It doesn't matter if it was a win, lose, or draw, that hit was outrageously late and MALICIOUS. His own teammates were fighting with him on the sideline, but I guess y'all know something they don't  . And I guess y'all know football better than the officials, who threw him out of the game b/c it was a malicious hit, and wayyyy too late. And for the record, please show where UT hit an aTm player like that, since according to y'all it "went both ways" . Show me where a UT player leveled an aTm player trying to exit the field  . And for the love of God, why does it matter if that was the hit that took him out of the game? It was a cheap shot, period. It doesn't matter if it was on the first or last play of the game, it happened. If you really want to argue the point, that hit was what softened his shoulder up to taking him out of the game, initially hurt him, and it was illegal. Without that hit, he would have never been carted off the field, but I guess you don't want to recognize that. The second hit, the player led with his helmet and made helmet-to-helmet contact, and the officials even commented that it should have been a penalty, and would have been were this an NFL game. The ball was already gone and he made that effort to leap into the QB with his helmet. I can see how it wouldn't have gotten called as well, so I won't argue that point. The QB had a weak shoulder and it was just hurt further on that play, and it wasn't malicious. Illegal, probably, but not malicious.

I fully expected to get aTm's best today, and thought they had a chance to win the game, as they always do, so I'm not even mad that UT lost, just mad that some of you weren't strangled at birth because now you're such fucking idiots and homers that just because you won the game you wanted to, you're condoning cheap shots. I'm sure you guys do your school proud  .

That hit effectively took him out of the game because he couldn't even throw after that. You're right, I'm sure you'd trade your starting QB for 15 yards  . That sounds "FAIR!!" to me  . I won't even "argue" with y'all, because there isn't any argument. The fact is it was a late hit, which you classless fools are condoning, which is bullshit. You didn't see the football team condoning the hit, but yet you guys act as if there isn't anything wrong with blindsiding someone Warren Sapp style. And as for the second hit, one very similar just happened in the Neb - Col game, and the defensive player was flagged for 15 yards. The commentators said he was lucky he wasn't thrown out of the game... but you're right, since it was the Aggies doing the hitting, there wasn't anything wrong with it.

Why is everyone concentrating on the dirty hit? It was classless, cheap, and totally uncalled for. The guy got thrown out, got 15 yards, and probably won't play in the bowl game. Does that make up for it? Probably not. But aside from that hit, you have to give the aTm D credit for a great game. When was the last time that Texas had 0 points at halftime and 7 points total at home?

And this is just my opinion, but chop blocks are just as dirty as the hit that was thrown on McCoy. Texas got called for one of those and block below the waist right? (Can't remember on the block below the waist).

Now if my Sooners can hold onto the damn football tomorrow, maybe they can take advantage of this and get into the Big XII Championship game.

I'm not a fan of either, it was a good win. However, you really don't get much respect from ONE win, do it a couple of times and carry the burden of being the favorite and still winning for the next 4-5 years, then you get the respect.

As much as I hate UT, UT had some really bad calls on them and they had tons of cheap shots trying to take out McCoy. Ill say that was a refs game. However, ATM did outplay them, so who knows.

One of the lineman was making a legal block, it was the second guy in there throwing the block below the waist that drew the flag.

I'd hand this game to the a&m defense, not the refs. I don't see any of the refs getting a suspension out of this game like we have seen in several other games this season (in other words, they didn't blow a call that cost UT the game). The hand to the face in the end zone is what drew the flag for the offensive pass interference. The aggie that threw the cheap hit on the other hand, he might want to invest in a nice TV to watch his team in their bowl game. I only saw one cheap shot on McCoy. The final hit is legal in college football. It is one of the two rules I wish they would change in college to be more like pro football. The other rule would be the horse collar tackle.

I agree, but the replays clearly show Colt slowing down and pulling his chin strap off which he only would have done if the play was over. QB's know that they are fair game after an INT, but 91 loaded up and didnt stop till Colt hit the turf well after the play was allready finished.

Cheap... and got ripped a new one from his own sideline. No matter though... it didnt change anything. He couldnt get the ball downfield much all day. He was underthrowing passes that he makes in his sleep.

I didn't remember the score of the OSU game. I'm not a Texas fan, and I just remembered they lost. For some reason I was thinking that score was 24-14, instead of 24-7. Thanks for the correction. Still impressive showing by aTm's defense.

Guys, can we please not focus on the late hit? He got penalized, thrown out, and will most likely miss the bowl game. I still feel he just got caught up in the moment, which young college players can do. Please do not label Texas A&M as classless because of one players mistake. I thought it almost looked like he thought the play was still going, since McCoy was running like he was going to make a tackle.

Either way, it was a late hit and the refs called it accordingly. It had zero impact on the outcome of the game. Again, I hope McCoy is ok. I hate to see guys get injured. I always prefer to see Tu and Texas A&M playing at their best against each other.

The bottom line is we had 3 picks, controlled the clock, and racked up 244 yards of rushing on the Nations top defense. As David said, we just wanted it more. It's a well deserved, long overdue victory. Hopefully we can keep the trend going. :)

I don't have a major problem with the hit either. I now wonder if he would have been hurt at all if it hadn't been for the previous stinger injury that got reaggravated in the hit.
