So I'm up in Greenville Illinois for Thanksgiving and my Great Grandmother turned 95 (bless her heart) today. But this is all besides the point of this post.
To those who think Matt is a prick and just full of shit...you are all moron's and fall for a marketing ploy of Dana White and the UFC.
Go with some family to Hillsborro (few miles from Greenville ) and we end up at the McDonalds of this small town for breakfast. Two good ol boys talking with the locals are Matt and Mark. I didn't want to spare him to death so I just said hello, blah blah asked where I was from told him Dallas was up here for Gma's bday and said hope she has a great one and many more to come.
My cousins I'm staying with tell me he can be found just about any morning out there has done quite a lot for the home town. When he's not training he's donating time and money and coaches the hometown wrestling team. He's on the local city radio shot and talks sports with the local guys. Town of about 6-10k from my guess. He let some of the local kids use his Hummer with big ass rims for their Prom ride for free.
Yeah he's just an arrogant prick like the reality show makes him out to be. lol. Just my .02 cents and how he was pretty cool and humble guy. Doesn't big time anyone and always says hey to anyone. I didn't spare him to death and ask for a pic or autograph...just a normal guy enjoying breakfast with people he's probably known all his life.
