If you want to know which team should be ranked higher, look at what Vegas would set the line at if they played on a nuetral field. Fact, UT would be favored over WVU, Louisville, Rutgers, and several other teams in front of them. Fact, USC would be favored over any SEC team (remember that Arkansas blowout). I'd say USC is the best team of this decade for the first half of it anyhow. Since Pete's arival they are 63-11 and since 2003 they are 46-3, talk about building a program that reloads ;) . They shared the 03 National Championship, won the 04 Championship, lost to UT in the 05 championship and if they beat ND which they have 4 straight wins over they just have UCLA to move past and they should be a shoe in for the National Title game.
