Seems like everyone else is posting alot of new best. So I guess I'll jump on the band wagon also. But before I do, I wanted to give the props to my new best where they are due : The guys at TXR did a hell of a job with track prep yesterday, especially with all of the street tired cars running.
The coupe had a couple of new best today :
3rd run of the day during the brackets and he let out :
R/T .174
60' 1.517
1/8 7.050
MPH 93.29
4th run of the day :
R/T .089
60' 1.581
1/8 7.194
MPH 95.00
7th run during the evening :
R/T .085
607' 1.517

If memory serves me correctly - I think we pushed 5 broken cars off of the line during the course of the day!

Sure we can hit the Creek after my cage/cam/nitrous install..I got to step my game up alittle before I hit the track again. I got get this done pretty quick..spring cruise will be here before you know it.. ;)

yeah the track was hookin..i made a pass on street tires and bogged leaving at 2,000..and the pass i made in the teal coupe i cut a 1.50!!

Not picking on anyone..his 7.05 pass matches my best except my mph was 95 his 93...my 60' was 1.55 to his 1.51..close race :eek:

yeah the track was hookin..i made a pass on street tires and bogged leaving at 2,000..and the pass i made in the teal coupe i cut a 1.50!!
I wonder why my junk would not hook.....2.20's on the 60ft :mad:

The wife wanted to come but we couldn't find a babysitter..so I wouldn't go without her since she really wanted to come. She tells me she wants a mustang & wants to race it.... :eek:

She's been looking at foxbody verts....I told her she could make passes in my car on motor only...her exact word was I want my own car :eek: ..I think she just wants to go down the track just to see how it fills...

You can run 5.50 at the Creek without a cage. They don't care.

Left lane was for shit traction wise. Best 60 ft in the left was a 1.77..sucks.
Right lane I only got 1 pass but went 1.55...yeah!

I noticed your car did a one wheel burnout every time I saw it in the water box. When you left the line it spun the opposite tire EVERY TIME.
OTOH - Pat Mckinney stood the car up on the bumper in the left lane!

Thanks for telling me, I appreciate it! I guess that tells me the clutches in the limited slip have taken a dump again. That would explain the lousy 60 ft.'s :o

No problemo, I actually thought about goign and telling you about it - then I forogot about it :(
I think on one of the passes, it barely spun the opposite tire in the burnout but quickly gave up.
