They did not race. Both had boo boo's. Bill had major boom bitch at the track. Dan had some issues last time at the track.

Thanks someone just called and told me he blew the intake wildbill. And dan had a major problem but the guy said he is not a tech. It just didn't sound right. Anyway that sucks i thought that was going to be good.

I think he had a solenoid hang open on him. I will let him tell it though. Intake is toast.

I think bill has bigger problems the In do.. All I have is a ring land that is messed up. I was blowing oil through the pcv line. So I didn't get to run.. I think I hurt it the other day racing that Viper spaying a 250shot with out the motor broken in completely yet.. I thought it was fine untill I saw all the oil in my CAI, and on the valve cover. I was still able to drive it home.. I'll be pulling the motor out in a little bit and put new rings in it, At that time I will be putting in cams too.. But the good thing was I was able to drive it home just like I drove it up there.. :D It was a damn shame I wasn't able to run Bill out there.. That 7.0's he ran wouldn't have cut it... I'll guess I'll have to wait to the spring Cruise..

Yes You are right but I also had a quart of oil in my intake manifold, CAI, and MAF.. If ran like shit that run, and well no shit with all over the place.. But 7.0's, I thought you were going to bring something bigger, your old n2o set up ran better.. ;) Yep I cracked a ring land and you cracked your intake, JLT, Hood, Finder, ETC.. Sorry about that shit bud, But shit happens sometimes.. I'm not too worried about mine.. I'll just put some new rings in and put some cams while I'm in there.. Yep I think I blew it up yesterday htting the Juice on the street testing it out before the cruise.. I didn't think it did anything untill I got to the cruise and made that first pass and it felt like shit, I new something was wrong, then I saw the oil and that just comfurmed that it was messed up..

I'm not bitter at all, shit happens o well, Yes I have a built shortblock, but when it goes lean on a 250 shot, sometimes things break.. You should know that..
That happens for several reasons...
Most likely you went with an off-the-shelf piston and the crown isnt as thick as it should have been for what you want to use for cylinder pressure...the piston got to hot and went brittle on your..chunk is gone...(TR6 plugs im assuming in use here...hopefully not) Ring gaps play a huge role in how much you can spray...too tight is like choking your sig other during sex..if shes kinky..lol Pump gas in the tank...not cool.
Too make power you need cool chambers and correct parts. Too many variables have to be checked and double checked. But, this is an expensive mistake for you. You get some first hand knowledge now or things ive already learned.

I checked the A/F with the 200 pills and it was fine, but ran out of N20 on the dyno so I didn't check it with the 250 pills.. I think the 200 pills were probably maxing out the Ford GT fuel pump I had and stock fuel lines and rails.. The car put down 530rwhp and 570rwtq with the 200 pills..

If all you have to get are cams then that's no big deal. The piston& rings and mach work is usually more expensive.

so what are gaps the rings were set at on your motor? What pistons, part number? etc.

Manley Pistons 3.572 bore, I don't have the part numbers, and I don't have the gaps, you would have to ask Travis that..
