Ok, I am trying to settle an argument.
The discussion is trap speed vs. dynos
I know that dynos, even Mustang dynos, can fluctate and give flase RWHP figures. But from time and time again talking to veteran's and trying to not ignore the laws of physics I beleive that using trap speed, wieght, gear ratios, tire diameter is a more accurate real world of calcuatling and measurement than using any other dyno manufactured.
What are your thoughts on this?

who gives a shit about #s, it is about gearing, weight, and the area of power under the curve used getting down the track. I think dynos are purely speculative, but great for tuning a car without having to go 150+ on the streets while staring at a laptop.

Well, settling and argument with my borther is why I care. Dyno's can always give false numbers and can be easily fluctauted (Especially intertia type dynos like DJ).
But the number can be inaccurate such as being low due to loading and tire spin on teh dyno.

Trap speed can be misleading, too. For example, ever actually hooked up and had a lower trap speed than when you spun? Is that an indicator of HP loss? Nope.

If you'd like to take yours on one last spin, before you upgrade. I'll show you what a 350rwhp increase will do to you on a foreign test track. :p

Nope, I trap higher when I hook... ;)
