I worked out there for about 2 weeks... until I ran out of free passes!!! :D
My friend switched over there, but I refuse to pay 150 dollars worth of bullshit fees when I already have a place to work out that costs less. Besides that, the place is nice with all of the new equipment. The talent is moderate... not that you care about that though.

I go one out in LA when I'm out there. The hotel I stay at gets you one visit per day if you stay with them. Reminds me of a 24 Hour, etc.

I worked out there for about a month as a test thing while I still kept my 24 Hour memership. I liked the facility, but their air conditioning SUCKS. It was always stuffy and hot in there. Each gym is probably different, though. I went to the one on Denton Highway.
Aren't they the ones that make you sign up essentially for life?

I work out there on and off. I got in when they we're doing the promotional thing while they were still building the one on mcarthur. I pay 28 a month and have no contract. Purely a monthly thing. I like the place, tons of machines, tons of free weights and a bitchin dry suana.
You're welcome to use my little key chain thingy and go check it out Lyn. Just scan it and walk on in.
and if you decide you wanna join, I've got a coupon they gave me when I signed up thats 50 bucks off the startup fee or some shit...lmk

Thanks, I'm going to check it out this week. I'll let you know what I think. ;)

Well it turns out that with my new job we have an account at L.A Fitness, so I don't have to pay anything. I'll get my little scan card in a week. Still haven't been in the club, but will as soon. :p Thanks to all that offered their coupons to help out.

They just opened a new one across I-20 from me. I'm curious to check it out since it's so close to the house.
I work right across the street from there. I'm trying to talk the boss man into buying us all a membership.

The tall 12 story building on the SW corner of MacArthur. It is tan with black windows and is the tallest building on the corner.

I can't work out in a cold building. Hell I usually put on a sweatshirt when I leave unless it's mid summer.

I workout in the Mckinney one and it's always cold. Good Classes, nice place.
I pay $19 a month for life with no contract. They try and get you to put money down but if you tell them no for about a month they'll give in even though they say they cannot. :D
I ended up paying $150 down for two ppl $19 a month each. :)
