He was not banned for that or any particular thread, it's the cumulative affect on the board, climaxed by a thread specifically targeting a mod with insults. To clarify, I thought the gay thread was a bit humorous, as I've have been "e-insulted" like that since long before he even registered. I didn't get hurt or take it too seriously, but I'm not the only mod/admin that has taken note of how annoying he can be. Your absolutely right, there are plenty of nonsense threads posted on a nearly daily basis, and some get deleted without a word, whereas others are missed and just fall of the front page into the archive. This being evidenced by the example I gave with Bones. He wasn't banned, nor was it ever considered, but he also didn't whine about it and further try to cause trouble on the board. They also aren't by the same poster, day in and day out, over and over.
