I'm taking my military physical on Wednesday and was wondering if I should stop the Creatine intake for a few days. I don't know if or how it would effect the results so I was just wondering.

I wouldn't think that the military would be screening for it I would say to ask a recruiter. I doubt it since they would get ephedra to overweight folks so they could cut enough weight to make it in.

I don't think Creatine is banned by the military so I don't think they'll necessarily be screening for it, I just didn't know if it would effect the piss test in any way.

I was taking it when i enlisted and went down to test. My recruiter asked me if i had been taking any kinda of drugs or steroids and I told him no, but that i take creatine. Said i'd be fine then. He didn't ever say if they test for it, or if they just dont care if you take it. A couple the guys that were down at MEPS when i went down had to have been on steriods, and they still got in. I think they check more for drugs.

Creatine levels are always tested for in a UA that's not a dip-test. if they send your sample to a lab, the sheet will return with creatine levels marked on it. Too high a level and they'll get suspicious, tell them ahead of time and you should be fine. :) but no danny, it's not going to 'skew' results any, the test clearly separates creatine levels from all other specs of the test.

They sell it on military bases. You're good.
Anything they sell at GNC you can take and still be good for military test.

When I took my Class 1 flying physical two months ago they did test for steriods and recommended that you clear any dietary supplement with flight medicine before use. Just a little fyi :)

Since when was creatine illegal?

It's not but elevated creatine levels during a UA are a red flag.
