New Hard Drive

I added a second hard drive to my computer. It is slaved and in the bios set to auto. I can find the 2nd hard drive listed under the device manager but don't see it anywhere else. It says that it is wroking properly but how do I find it to add things to? The deal is my master drive is full because I have been downloading alot of music and movies lately so I need more space and I had an extra hard drive so I figured I would just add that one instead of buying a new one. But for the life of me can't figure out what to do.

If its a new clean drive you need to partition and format from disk manager.

Right click my computer, manage, then disk management.

Thank you for that. It shows up now. Now is there an easy way to transfer my music file sharing program with all of the music and my itunes from the master to the slave drive without losing anything. That way I can make the slave strickly for the music and videos? Thanks

What do you use? Limewire, Itunes, Napster, Bareshare? prolly just drag the file to that drive and then update shortcut most of them dont have reg keys
