That was a great play call on 4th and 1. You know Houston's defensive front isn't that strong. You call a passing play with only 1 receiver running a route and throw it out of bounds.

One thing is for sure about the Cowboys play calling in the Red Zone/Goal-Line: Jones run up the middle, Jones run up the middle, Barber run up the middle, Field Goal. :rolleyes:

Why do you constantly run up the middle 3 straight times in down and goal situations when you have the WR's and TE's that the Cowboys have? You don't.

Not when teams have him in one-on-one coverage. Today is a perfect example of what he was talking about. The Texans tried to single cover T.O. and roll a safety on him and he's now got 3 TD's.

Yeah, that 1 TD was against Jacksonville who has one of the best defenses in the league too.

Cowboys fans just haven't had Irvin around in a while and aren't used to a loud WR.
