The team does look great. Last night though, the Kings did not look so great. Can't say they did not get a break from the refs though.

You really can't say that anymore. As we've all seen, the regular season wins don't exactly rollover to the playoffs for the Stars.

they are 5- 0 now, right? but at least two are Shootouts. In the finals, they will have to find a way to win those games, the old fashioned way. By actually scoring a goal in an overtime period. They didn't do that too well last year.

Avery I guess you could say reminds you of Morrow but it isn't a pick up that would help the Stars. He is a complete wack job.

It wouldnt suprise me if Turco starts. He loves the high workload, and the Sharks have a high octane offense. Keep an eye on Bernier and Michalek. ;)

Wack job or not he plays his ass off. I don't see how he couldn't help any team. He is a good all around player like Morrow IMO. Having two Morrows can't be a bad thing.

Avery is not a good all around player is the problem. Who woul dbe subtracted to ad dhim in the line up. The only player I could see taking out to put him in is Ott.

Actually, as a Kings fan, he's frustrating as hell. Some nights, you love him. He'll draw penalty after penalty, he's got good speed and a decent shot. Best of all he's a pest. But then, he manages to have those nights where he can't stay out of the box and hurts the team at the worst time.

He'll catch Belfour in no time for all-time wins the way he's playing. Now, if he would just keep winning in the post-season. ;)

Yes he will and I have heard a couple interviews where he said himself that he worked on conditioning in the entire off-season and that he will not let down like that again. We will just have to wait and see  :p

It got denied by the NHL due to the NHL changing to slimmer fitting jerseys next year. I believe there was an article about it in the DMN about a week and a half ago. Sorry guys jumped the gun on it but if they are wearing the same thing next year I owe you all drinks.

Drinks?
Suddenly, I feel misled too...
I've been playing hockey since I was 4, but some how, I didn't even realize the season had started... That's depressing to me...
But it's good to hear they're off to a 5-0 start, and good to see Turco kickin' ass, like we all KNOW he can. The dudes destined for greatness, so long as he works at it. I mean, look at Belfour! One of the best ever, and he's a raging alcoholic. Natural talent... Turco's got that, but add in some good practice, coaching, and conditioning, and it won't be long until Belfour is a long forgotten memory

Still, Nabakov, and Toskala are enough. They have a pretty strong team overall this year. Every game we play against them is going to be a great matchup. Already looking for tickets when they come here. ;)

Maybe slimmer jerseys = 1) harder to clutch and grab, 2) harder to pull jersey over the head when fighting

Well it is like if you look at the Olympic jersey from each team they are based off of that. Kind of like what Reebok has done with football jersies in the NFL.
