How can Rodeo Ford offer a new F150 so cheap? I think there has to be a catch, sounds like a lease or it is a bare bones model.

its a loss leader. they put one up for sale that has been sitting on the lot for a LONG time and deppreciation is starting to effect the resale value. It also make a good marketing tool and gets people to talk about the dealership, and some even come out to see if its a real deal, and then the sales staff try to sell them something else while they are there. I could be wrong here, but i doubt it.


btw, i dont believe you can even buy a f150 with a manual transmission anymore. its likely a "fleet spec" truck.

When we run an add, we've been beating that price since they started their old school "Westway" advertising on TV. That hokey BS is not exactly our style. It is a loser deal offered on one unit. A Reg Cab V6 manual with no options. If you see the truck and actually decide that is the truck for you, then they pack it full of extras like alarm and other BS.
