Bledsoe does blow... we need some consistency from a qb. He's week to week on how he plays and the offensive line performance has a lot to do with it. He's a sitting duck without blocking.
Trying to get passes off with so much pressure.. getting his arms hit.. causing INT's.
On the last drive of the game, he sat in the fucking pocket with no options then went backwards and lost 12 fucking yards. Are you kidding me?
Then making those kind of throws on the goal line just guessing on what the receive is going to do is bullshit. We should have tied that game easily, they couldn't have made it any easier.
I did like how T.O was noticeably irritated, but knew they were still in it till the end.
Bledsoe sucks... too many mistakes.
We can't give up two 40+ yard TD passes either. They burned us with a rookie WR and a high school play. That's pretty sad.

Like in the Washington game last year when he got beat twice in the 4th quarter to lose the game? Not the first, second or third time he's gotten smoked. The guy can hit, but thats it. He's severely over-rated.

grrrr  I've never disagreed with you before, but heres where I do.
I think that both safteys blow on coverage. Why don't they move Williams up to LB on nickle. Have him replace that waste of a draft pick, Kevin Burnett. You could then move Aaron Glenn to saftey. At least one of them would back there could play center field. Oh yea, I'm out on #11. He makes way too many mistakes. When he does have time to throw, he is just doesn't make up his mind fast enough where to go with the football.

Actually you are dead wrong. Never liked him as a player and when they win it is never because of his playing or ability to make quality plays...so a win does not translate into liking him for me one bit.

Id say Bledsoe is partly to blame. Yes he needs to feel pressure better and at least try to move SOME in the pocket, BUT I was impressed when he put his head down and made two good runs (one for a TD). You also have to look at the OFFENSIVE LINE. They were allowing people untouched getting to Bledsoe on multiple occasions.
Also have to put some blame on the safeties. Both Pat Watkins and Roy Williams had some big slip ups in this game.

He blew a coverage on one play....do you think hes a robot?

If they would run more out of the shotgun then he would at least have some more time to throw against the blitz. When he made the throw Glenn, which drew a penalty, I believe he was in the shotgun. I may be wrong, but from what I recall that was the only time the Cowboys used it.

Seriously just watch him, he is one of the most overrated safeties in the league. Yes he can hit, yes he can play against the run, but he looks like a retarded 6 year old in coverage.

Bledsoe deserves all the blame. Forget about the %#^%$#^%$#%$ int in the endzone t the end of the game...
What about when he had ALLLLLLLLLL DAYYYYYYYY to throw the ball out of bounds and took a 20yd sack earlier in the drive. You know in Pre Season they blew a fog horn at 4 sec if he had not released the ball. They need to bring that shit to the game! How much time was wasted on that play? It simply proves, if we did need further proof, that he is too old to make quick intelligent decisions.
FUCK! That play alone takes out all the above comments about putting him in the shotgun. He will still take the freakn sack.

Being a hard hitter does not mean that he can cover. He's overrated as far as I'm concerned. I can go out there and hit a motherfucker hard if I want, but I can't cover for shit. You think the Cowboys would let me play?

Hey Chris, do you know the game of Football very well? Most everyone would agree with Steve - i dunno about overrated (maybe I'm the only one that agrees there) but he is NOT a cover safety.

it wouldnt surprise me to see romo start next week...hes not much of an improvement, but i think he will throw less int's. im far from a cowboys fan, but i have to say roy williams is easily a top 5 strong safety in the league.

Drew, will you please never ask a team to blitz you? You are the worlds worst QB when you get biltzed or hurried. ;)

I agree 100% and I'm a diehard Cowboys fan. If it weren't for the no wrap-up hits, you wouldn't hear about this guy.

i dunno, i see romo starting. roy williams would be an upgrade to ss for alot of teams in this league...one thing he tends to do alot is overpay the run trying to pad that tackle stat. pat watkins is a rookie playing opposite of him also, so that doesnt help.

As for some of the Roy comments. He needs to quit tryin to do more than his job. I played safety in college and when I was tryin to make more plays than I was supposed to I would get caught looking into the back field just like he did. Watch your man and cover him. You don't have to run a 4.2 to cover somebody. Techinque makes up for speed. He needs to go back to the basic....

AMEN TO THAT!!
You could see Bledsoe over on the sidelines making his case after the pick. Once again it was not his fault and Parcells will yummy down on his pickle one more time.
Bledsoe is so freakn concerned about not throwing to T.O. he is screwing everything else up. He will throw to Glen and the other team before he throws to T.O. just to show him who's team it is. Well fuck a bunch of that bullshit. Put Romo in and call it a day. He is much better than DB anyway.

I am not a big Bledsoe fan but the O-line allowed him to be sacked 7 times yesterday. I think 6 of those sacks were in the 2nd half of play. I think he did pretty well to keep Dallas in the game when the O line seemed to be letting the Philly Defense run wild in the back field.

Yes the O-Line had trouble yesterday but they had to expect that. Eagles at home all juiced up for T.O. and they were going to apply some pressure.
The big dfference is a GOOD QB would have gotten rid of the ball out of bounds rather than take the sack. I say 2 of the sacks aloud were true sacks. The others Bledsoe could have thrown it out of bounds due to everyone being covered.

Then everyone would be be complaining that he kept throwing the ball away, LOL. It is far to easy to be the monday morning QB. I don't care if Dallas wins or loses nor if Bledsoe or Romo is the starter but to blame it all on him or hate him for the loss? As with any loss there is lots of blame to go around. Why didn't the defense stop McNabb and company? Why didn't T.O. get open? I mean the list goes on and on, I think it is a bit unfair to pile on the QB when so many others did so poorly as well.

First I am not saying that there was not blame to go around. There was. However, you would not hear one complaint from anyone who knows anything about football for Bledsoe throwing the ball away while avoiding a coverage sack. Shit we all know he cannot run so we expect him to throw it away. And do not kid yourself.... this is not the 1 loss that did this. I can't stand Bledsoe when they win. BECAUSE WHEN THEY WIN IT TYPICALLY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BLEDSOE'S PLAY!

By the way, did we pay Terrell Owens all that money to just be a decoy? I swear to god, if you get the big time receiver, make USE of him. It doesn't matter if a team expects him to get the ball, you give him the chance on the deep balls and he will make it. Just like a Steve Smith, you give him the chance and he'll make the play.

Terrell Owens was thrown to more times than Terry Glenn was - I don't know what you're talking about. Do you want every play the Cowboys run to be a pass to T.O.?
Using T.O. as somewhat of a decoy really opens up the offense on passing situations though, you must admit that.

I knew someone would come back and say this, and I don't accept that as a counter-argument at all. All the shit that was thrown his way was TERRIBLE. And I'm talking about using him as a deep threat...what he is basically made for.

But I thought that all someone had to do was put a ball in T.O.'s vicinity and he would take care of everything? I like how he overran his route, which led to the interception. Or was that Bledsoe fucking up again?

Actually that was a great move by T.O. He jogged off the line hinting at run... the corner sucked up and T.O. blew past his ass. Bledsoe under threw him. Now go ahead and make the arguement that Bledsoe and T.O. have not practiced enough to get the timing down.
