I have an old video camera. It records on tapes rather than to a disk. Is there anyway to upload(I guess thats what it is called) video from my camera to my computer? The only cables I have is the ones that allow me to hook the camera to the TV. Could I have the video put on a disk and then download it to the computer? I got a bunch of video of my car from the track that I wanna post up. TIA.

what connections does it have from cam > tv? If its just the typical RCA type, install a video capture card on your comp. Plug in cam into RCA input. Then start recording.

Yes it has RCA connections. Where do I get one of these capture cards? Price? Instead of doing that do you know if I could just take the tape into a photo place and get them to put it onto a disk?

yeah you can. I think Kinkos does it still but the price is almost as much as a capture card from Fry's. They are about $30.
