Mustang or 350 Z ?

Looking for a new car, and i've been trying to decide between buying an 07 Mustang GT and a Nissan 350z. Has anyone driven both and is able to kind of give me a feel for what each car is like? Both seem to have around the same horsepower, do they handle alike or is the Z much better ? What about the "fun factor?" Driving around town and on the highway? How about aftermarket upgradeability? Is there much out there for both cars? As far as practicality goes the Mustang at least has a small backseat so that's a little bit of a plus but not such a big deal for a single guy like me. Anything you guys could think of that would help me make a more informed decision would be appreciated.

When you say the 350z's are crap, do you mean they are poorly built, perform poorly, or aren't reliable? How are they crap?

I've driven several different Z's that we've brought in on trade. I think they have enough power, handle good, and are very good looking. However, I'm not impressed at all with the ride quality. The mustang rides a ton better. Everyone has different wants and needs, but I just have to get a smooth ride now.
