Sgt. Edward Reynolds was killed last week in Iraq and his funeral is being held in Beaumont Texas this Saterday. Some of you may know the Westboro Church, which travels around the country protesting at soldiers funerals. These are the people that celebrate the death of our soldiers, picketing that they our burning in hell for defending a country that accepts homosexuals. You may view the story by the local news at http://www.kfdm.com/engine.pl?station=kfdm&id=16964&template=breakout_dayportvideo.shtml&dateformat=%M+%e,%Y
The Texas Cross Country Racing Association ( one of the largest offroad motorcycle associations in the US. www.tccra.org), is trying to get members together to attend this funeral. We are asking that anyone in the area come out to support the family of this soldier. The weather is calling for clear skys and 86 degrees, so it sounds like a good day for a cruise. Please come support a soldier who has given his life in order to protect our freedom. I have also informed the DFW dakotas club. Thanks guys Mike McGovern
How do people do that, thats someones funeral for god sakes.

Who's down for a road trip to whoop some ass. That loud mouth bitch was on Fox recently too. She is a vile and disgusting animal that needs to be stoned in the street by the families of those she has hurt.

She's going to be speaking in one of my classes at UNT. The professor won't tell us what days these people are coming because of picketing and fighting.
They'll be 500 feet away with their own security and the local police. I doubt there will be any trouble. Damn inbred Kansas whackos.

I have contacted the Patriot Guard Riders. The PGR however only attends if asked by the family memebers. With the amount of time left, it is doubtfull that they will be able to attend. They are a great organization though. I am trying to organize a similar thing to the PGR. We are hoping to get a group of people together to peacefully attend this service, shielding the family from the WBC hate. If anyone is intrested, please contact me at michael.mcgovern@auab.centaf.af.mil
Go the obvious channels through your local American Legions and VFWs and of course the NCO club on base. Hopefully only a handful of the whackos show up.

Grrr! I would tell you but he's pretty cool. It's more about people learning that it's not just the 1st Amendment Right to Speech, but the right "to be heard". In his defense, we also have a grand something of the KKK, the Black Panthers, and Gay/Lesbian groups coming to talk. It's a very "diverse" type of class.
I hope someone kills every one of them.

You mean you can't even tell me the class? If the prof. is trying to hide what he/she is trying to bring to the school, don't you think he/she is risking their job or chance of some kind of trouble?

Big mouth Mcgee up there already said it. No, they're trying to prevent drama... I will be more than happy to call you when she gets there, but we don't know who is coming until the day of class.

OK, Carrie is officially a badass! Nice wording, there.
I think the best thing would be for some people to make a big ass banner, showing the fallen hero's family some support and stand right in front of their protest, taking them out of the picture.
I noticed in the paper yesterday they had a shot of the Patriot Guard Riders down there. I guess those inbred America haters didn't get any attention?
