Thought this was a pretty interesting site. At first I thought it was a joke but it's not. I remember my Dad telling me that back in the early 1900's when we were having problems with the muslims, that we caught a group of them (10 or so) and executed all of them but 1 and wrapped the dead bodies in pigs skin because supposedly they won't see Allah if that happens. So that one guy left was told to go back to his peeps and tell them what happened to not mess with us, that act put so much fear in them that they didn't want to mess with us. Of course we can't do it because it's not politically correct these days, but others have started to do it. Any thoughts?

I have heard the pershing story quite a few times (and several variants from it). Just decided to look it up on Snopes. Dunno if I believe Pershing actually did that, good story nontheless. They also have an interlude on the effectiveness of a pig-related deterrent. (Would be interesting if what they say about the strippers is true.)
