i stopped yesterday because i saw a dude on a cruiser pulled over by himself - he looked to be broken down. I always carry a bunch of tools under my seat, so i stopped and asked if he needed help. The motherfucker goes "oh, my helmet fell off and broke, and riding without one is too windy so i'm waitin for them to bring me another one"

his helmet broke when it hit the pavement, and he trusted it to save his head?! I told him 'dude, you know we call those brain buckets, right?' and wished him a safe rest of the ride.

alot of helmets are designed to break after one "use," so as to distribute the force of impact when it hits the ground, although just flying off at a high rate of speed and bouncing off the ground beehind you shouldnt have broken it, lol :D keep your shit strapped... :rolleyes:
