On my way home from work my back pack(with some tools in it) fell off the back and right on top of the tire.Rear tire locked up going 70. Didnt dump it and luckily I had just got off onto the service road. Got out and picked up my tools that were laying on the road and pulled what left of the pack out from my tire.Good times.
For those of you that are wondering how the back pack fell off its becasue I was tying it down to the back seat.

I was shaking after I came to a stop. When I heard the screeching I thought someone was about to hit me. Then I noticed the back end felt funny and instantly new what happend. While I was sliding to a hault I was thinking I was gonna go down. Then realized I had all of my gear on this time so Im sure I wont go down

After doing the 520 conversion, I keep worrying about a sprocket or chain fucking up, and locking the rear doin' 80mph down Central Expressway. Good to hear it can be saved, sounds like it's time for you to invest in a tank bag...

Only things that stupid assholes with testicle butter for brains do at 70 mph when they don't safely secure tools or any other dangerous objects on a bike.

Im sure you think your a bad motherfucker behind your keyboard and want to try to stir up shit.. But next time you want to chime in with a dumbass comment, save it for when were face to face.
Im sure everyone else in your imaginary world makes mistakes except for you.
There were no cars behind me or anywhere around when the bag came off. I realize it could have happend on the highway when there was. But what are the chances that a tool in my back pack(thats stuck in the tire) is gonna fly out, hit a window with enough force to break it and then manage to kill a child?
Dont even try to start defending yourself. I wasnt talking shit to anyone and I didnt have any problems with you. But you decided to jump on my case about some made up scenario.

I just registered so forgive the not have a sig yet.
I just got back from riding to Chicago, I live in Frisco, and I almost lost my Backpack and extra set of Joe Rocket pants and jacket which was strapped down using a cargo net to the rack.
Of course I was doing 135 mph through the mountains in MO at the time.
Fortunately the ugly rear fender thingy where the license plate mounts kept it out of my rear wheel.
Shew!!!

So were you tying your backpack to your bike while going 70? So did the bike immediately stop from a 70 mph speed so that none of the tools could possibly have hit the asphalt and started a bounce? You sound real smart. Were you wearing a bike helmet or the football helmet that you are required to wear so you don't hurt yourself on the shortbus?
