Blu-Balz 03' Snake

I realize there is a lot more knowledge and technology that goes into making sound systems sound good rather than just hooking up speaker and wanted to know who knows what the hell they are doing around my area.
I've got a serious sound system I want installed and need all the info I can get.
Earmark? Car Toys? Auto Sound etc. Who is the best?
Thanks.

I second the nomination. I'd make the drive to let Eric handle this. He is the best I've seen! And he's done all of my audio, and just last week I had them install an alarm.
<--------very satisfied customer!

I'd like to third this notion. He did a great job on my alarm for my last car. :)
In fact as soon as I get the money he will be puting and alarm on the Mach.
If you want to see a serious sound system check out Auto Sound's Firebird. They built it for Ken Murphy several years ago and there is close to $100k in it. Very nice setup!

EW has put in my stereo, uninstalled the crappy alarm I had and put in a new alarm. I am completely satisfied with everything they have done. He gave me a better price than the other places and still did not cut any corners.

There are shops in DFW turning out far nicer custom work than me. If you have the means, go for it! :)

Screw him and his father. Overpriced asses.
Their are some shops that do some really nice custom work, IF you are looking for CUSTOM! It really depends on what you are actually wanting to install. I wont downgrade JR's because have known the man for years, and He's a fellow shop owner in the field. What sets JR's apart from alot of people is hes built the shop reputation on athletes. If your the normal shmo blo, then yes you are going to feel he's extremely high! If your an athlete, the money doesnt really matter to you for the most part. Jr's has some good installers, the problem with his shop is his overhead, is why he is so expensive. He has one guy who is a World Class installer, speacializes is customization, problem is hes no wiring guru. You know Pretty on the outside, ugly underneath. The best thing to do is visit some shops. I can tell you im the best, Hell I feel I am, but so do 50 other installers out there. Visit some shops, tell them what you want. Get a real feel for how they treat you, are they working with your ideas, or are they telling you what you NEED to do. Let them know upfront your going to visit a few shops. Go home at the end of the day and put it all on paper. And decide where you felt the most comfortable. You need figure everything into the mix. Why is one guy higher than the other. Contrary to what you may think, parts make a difference. Say one shop is using DB Link wiring, and another shop is using StreetWires or Hooker, they will be higher, because the DB stuff is just cheaply made wiring. And remember service after the sale is just as important. People on here can refer all day long, but at the end of the day, its still your decision and your money. You have to feel right about it, and be happy in the end. Dont be afraid to ask every question in the book at a shop. You will stumble on one who gave you the answers you were seeking, and you will end up feeling comfortable with that shop. And in there lies your answer to your question. Good luck with your install.

I agree. I worked on a H2 they did and I was very disappointed. I had to do a complete rewire on the video system. If EW cant help u out come see me in Irving. I am not advertizing, just trying to hook some one up.....
