Payout's for the Pro class's at FFW.
CLASS WIN R/U SEMI 1/4s ENTRY*
Probe Industries Pro $7500 $2000 $500 $200 $250
ProCharger Street Outlaw $5000 $1000 $200 $100 $200
Precision Turbo & Engines Street Renegade $2000 $500 $100 $50 $150
Sean Hyland Mod Comp
$2000 $500 $100 $50 $100
CFE Racing Products Street Bandit $1000 $400 $100 $50 $100
Borla Street Warrior $1000 $400 $100 $50 $100
BFGoodrich Drag Radial $1000 $400 $100 $50 $100
JDM Tough Truck $1000 $300 $50 $25 $100
Ford Racing Ultra Stang $1000 $300 $50 $25 $100
Bama Chips Four-Six Frenzy $500 $100 $50 -- $85
Superchips Street Stang $500 $100 $50 -- $85
So you spend $50-60k and up to build a car to class specs for this shit!
Come on Fun Ford get your head out of your ass.
Look at the semi final payouts for each class. I say semi's because you would at least expect to make a few hundred let alone break even. Renegade you still freakin lose money going to the semi's, and I'm talking losing money just paying your entry fee. That does not include the gas, nitrous, ect..ect...
No wonder there where only 3-4 pro cars per class last year. One of the pro class's only had two cars total I remember. I remember back in the Mike Murillo flag car days they had a full field per class.

I think there is more opportunity in contingency money than the payouts.

Guy's I'm not talking about getting rich at all. I am just comparing it's payouts to TTT5, KOTH, and a couple of local run events with NO sponsorship. These local events can payout first rounder's and even give some money back to non-qualifyers. I'm not expecting that from FFW even though they DO have sponsors for each pro-class, I would just not expect to not even get enough money back going to the semi's in Renegade to cover my $200 entry.

We'll I'm not the one paying - I may do it once when I finally get a running car. I think it's more the prestige of the possibility of a jacket etc on sunday.

Your right. I think that's how it should be with every class. It's about the bragging rights not the money.
