The RAT ran a new best on Friday at the Creek!

Well I know I am nowhere as fast as alot of you guys on here & wish I was, But I am proud of my car. It ran extremelly well on Friday & I want to post up for those of you who have been following my progess with this car.

Drove the car there & drove it home also.

Also Big Thanks to Juiced - 4V SNK (JOSE) & his Cousin JOSE for Taking the Video of my pass's..

Also Thank you Moose Jr & others on the tips for launching the car. I didn't even back in the water box one time. Dropped the tires to 15psi. Pulled out & burned out to the line. Backed up & threw down a small puddle of VHT Track Bite & lit em up real quick & staged. I PULLED MY BEST 60FT EVER. :D 1.59 60ft on Street Radials. BFG Drag Radial 315/35/17s. Not to shabby for stock suspension.

Very first pass. No cool down, Straight off the street.

Considering I was in full weight trim with my TTII 17inch Rims. I think with some Big & littles I would drop it further down. But I like the street look.

Yeah both tires at 15psi. I haven't quite figured out how to download the video off my camara on to the internet. But I have a good vid of me running a coupe that was sprayin on me & I still got em.

you can still keep the street look...on track day just change the wheels and tires out. My car is a street car eventhough its gutted. My car is tagged & inspected :D

Good to see you ran so well. With some cooler/dryer weather and some more weight out of the car I can see a low .30 or high .20 at the creek! You've still got quite a bit of room for improvement.

I just stall the converter to 1000 rpms till I feel it lock up & launch it. I think for now I am going to leave the car alone & be happy.

I really want to get another 5.0 Stang & beat on it. I am at the point now where I think the car is maxed out on HP. I am going to put some skinnys on the front. But the car has exceeded my expectations.

With DR's, you're doing a great job. When you get slicks, stalling it to 2500-3000 will really launch that sucker! Probably blow those DRs away though.

Cooler weather is coming - and you're gonna be shocked when you run some passes in 0 or negative DA weather. :)
