who's getting in on week 1 action? there are a couple of really tempting lines out there. the usc/arkansas line and the notre dame/georgia tech line. i'm even going to put something down on the army/arkansas st line at 4.5 points! :)

Taking Georgia Tech over Notre Dame would be the safe bet since ND's secondary is horrible and Geogria Tech has one of, if not the best, WR's in the nation in Calvin Johnson.

i'm not taking it, i think there are safer bets out this week. unt is not going to score until later on, and won't score more than 10, so basically it's a question of will texas put up more than 50, which i think they will.

Yea, its one of those, "It's their's to lose game" type of situations. ISU has 10 offensive starters coming back that averaged 28 pts a game last year. Toledo lost their starting QB and got some fresh faces on defense.

Not that stats matter but ISU is 75% when laying 1-2 TDs at home.

I didn't know whether to pick ND, or pick GT for the "upset." Also, for the "tiebreaker" question, I was tossing around the idea of who would put up the most points. I definitely have my least points picked, but most could be between Texas, WVU, ND, and possibly OU (vs UAB). WVU should put up great numbers, as should ND, but then again Texas is breaking in two different QB's so they'll play them til the game is over, no letting up.... hmmm :confused: .
