I was disappointed that the Forrest/Bonner fight went 3 rounds. I personally wanted to see a KO. And tough break for Babalu. It didn't look too bad at first. And I good that Diaz got a much needed win. Not too bad of a card, the next UFC ppv should be a bit better.

I think it was one of the best UFC PPV's in a long time. The Nick Diaz fight was great and so was the Hermes Franca win. We were watching the fight at a bar so someone please tell me why in the fuck Franca's opponent was allowed an opportunity to recover in the 3rd round?
Need I say anything about the Liddell fight? :D One of these days people will stop betting against him when he fights BJJ guys.

Its true he got a hold of Big John's leg. It was almost as bad as Gideon Ray getting KO's and trying to take down the ref.

Yea that shit was funny. He rolled and tryed to take down the ref by grabbing his leg. He had no idea where the fuck he was at. Bullshit though, I wanted it to be a bit more interesting than that.
The other figts were entertaining, except for griffin/boner.

The Griffin/Bonner fight was horrible in comparison to their first fight.

Yeah, it seemed like Bonner was trying to dodge punches this time. I can understand that but, he seemed to do better when he just stood in front of him and traded licks. Still a good fight none the less. It would be very hard to live up to the first fight.

I was kind of worried that Chuck didn't take this fight serious. He reminded me of "The Great White Hype" coming in looking a bit on the chunky side. But, he pulled it off again.

Horrible in that they both tried to fight a more technical fight I suppose. I don't have a problem with that!

So this was the first time I've seen UFC. And I really do have to question your unconscious homosexual tendencies if you actually like this crap, let alone pay for it.

Compared to what.........wrestling?
I'm watching the rerun on AFN right now...the Diaz fight was good...was a little disappointed in the Bonner/Griffin fight. After the last match with them I expected a lot more. The Liddell fight is about to start.
Liddell whomped that dude...kicked his ass. Awesome fight.

It sure didnt seem like he was taking it seriously, he was insanely busy leading up to the fight. There was a huge huge pre-fight party on friday night on the strip, he had 3-4 appearances around town on wednesday and thursday, and of course a huge post-fight party as well. Seems chuck either hired a party planner or has been a busy guy

Are you kidding me?
Fighting is by far the oldest sport known to man.
You're saying you prefer boxing to MMA events? or wait, Basketball? Maybe Tennis? no I know Swimming...
There is nothing more satisfying than watching two people standing face to face, and beating the living shit out of eachother. Why do people at bars, all crowd around to watch a bar fight? Why do people really enjoy hockey? Human character loves watching a gladiator style battle...
Guess you are the slightly light in the loafers type, who does nothing more than complain about every sport, sports figure, owner, team, stadium, etc... Because you never had the nuts to stand up and actually participate in sports, or anything athletic? Back to the band trumpet boy.
Why do people really enjoy hockey?
True hockey fans love the sport, not the occasional fight. Most fights in hockey aren't "great" anyway.
Watching MMA fighting is awesome, especially when you have done BJJ or Muy Thai kickboxing before. It looks like a bunch of people beating the living daylights out of each other, but for those who actually know the sport, there is a lot more technique involved than what it seems.

Me thinks so.
As for Bonnar/Griffin, talk about two guys that have nothing but respect for each other. They were both fighting a smarter fight this time around, but you could tell Griffin has had better training than Bonnar since their first fight. Griffin seemed more relaxed and calculated. I like them both, I just wish Bonnar would change camps. I think he would really benefit from it. He's got to be tired of losing those decisions. I liked how Griffin was humbling it up in his after fight interview with Rogan. We'll definitely see these two fight again.

I definitely like the attitudes they have towards one another - each respect the other tremendously.
