I guess Cowher was lying to the media because Roethlisberger ended up playing. Not real stellar going 9/14, 52 yards, 0 TD 1 INT.
After losing the first 2 pre-season games, I wouldn't be worried. However, the 3rd pre-season game is usually the "dress rehersal" for week 1 and the Steelers really didn't do a whole lot.

I wasn't impressed with the offense. Willie Parker looked good, but the line played horrible. Defense was strong once again though.

Preseason doesn't mean jack squat. Last year The Colts lost all the preseason games, then won what 12 in a row? And didn't the Cards win all the preseason games, or was that some other horrible team?

I don't mind the fact that the Cowboys are 2-0 in pre-season play. Any type of win will definately be motivation to play well and continue to win. The Cowboys could build a bit of momentum from doing well in the pre-season.
