crazy that noone has made one yet for as much sports talk as we get on here so i just made one.

the league is called DFWstangs.net and it's on nfl.com powered by cbssportsline.

it's a private league and it's free. i set it up for live draft for saturday, september 2th 2006 at 9:45 AM CST but you can always set up preferences if you dont want to sit through the draft.

Hey I got a question about the player rankings cause I don't know if I can make the draft. Will it pick according to what position I need? Like for instance say I already have 2 or 3 RB's, but I still need a WR. However, the next person on my rankings list is another RB. Will it just pick the RB or will it pick the WR who is ranked lower on my list?

It makes me think...I wish they set these things up in a depth chart kind of way. So I could rank players at each position.

I'm not the one to be asking either man - this is my first time playing. I'm just using it as a learning experience to kick everyone's ass next year.

Basically you have a draft and you pick players. You make a team out of 1 QB, 2-3 RB, 2-3 WR, 1 TE, 1 team for defense, and 1 kicker. You will actually pick more than just that many since you will have backups and stuff, but you are limited to that many in your starting roster.

Each player scores points for you, (QB makes points by passing yards, passing TDs... RB scores points by rushing yard, receiving yards, TDs...) I haven't checked this league for point scale and exact roster yet, but they are all pretty similar.

So basically you pick the biggest statistics hogs and make a team out of them.
