My poem to Drew Henson ( I sux at poems BTW)
We thought it was you, thought you were the the one
Thought you were the one that would take us to the promise land
You sat afar, looking at Quincy, Clint, Drew and some guy named Baker
The whole time thinking of your glory as a Wolverine, with Brady sitting on the bench.
No one knew that you you were up to your ass in stench
Bye, Bye Drew we thought you were the one... :(

I think it was a Buick Regal that he collided with. Not to mention, even after biting the asphalt, he can still get the job done (he's been great in pre-season thus far).

What do Chutch, Q-Car, and Henson all have in common besides being former spare Dallas QB's?

the bad thing is, he was never really given a chance to see what he could do. We might never know.

Yeah but they actually had to release him b/c NO ONE in the league would trade for him. That should tell you his value right there.

If a team comes out and says that a player will not be on their roster for the season would you give up something to get him or wait until he is released and try and get him for nothing?

Hey, when David Carr is your starting QB, even Drew Henson can look like a good substitute at times.

Im still not convinced that Carr is the problem. He has no real options or time.

Johnson and Gaffney are pretty decent. Definately not scrubs. Gaffney is gone to the Eagles, but was replaced by Eric Moulds who is a former 1,000 yard reciever with the Bills.
I agree he doesn't have as much time as other QB's like Manning or Brady, but part of it is his fault for not getting rid of the ball faster.

That guy was a waste. He was an interception machine waiting to be started. What is with the old cowboys taking pitchers that couldn't pitch and trying to make them a quarterback?

Carr is not fully responsible for the Texans being a complete disappointment. A quarterback needs a line in front of him. David Carr's line would have trouble playing in high school ball.
I was shocked when they drafted Mario Williams. They had a decent defense as it was. If I were Houston, I would have drafted Reggie and then traded him for some people that can actually work in the trenches.

The problem is, they are in the same division as the Colts. You aren't going to out-gun the Colts. You have to use Defense against them. Thats why they picked Williams over Bush or Young.

True, but if any of the 30 other teams in the NFL wanted a project or potential backup QB, they could have had him for a late round pick. Not much to give up in a league that always in need of QB's.
