Pretty big deal here that could affect the Cowboys when they play each of these teams.
I dropped K - Ryan Lindell off of my Fantasy Team and picked up Lelie. Duckett is only insurance for the Redskins if Portis is hurt worse than thought.

Good luck with any receiver that has to take passes from Vick.

He's just a bench player/trade bait for me right now. I've got Marvin Harrison, T.O., Muhsin Muhammad, Keenan McCardell, and Micheal Clayton.

Vick is overrated who cant throw.... Lelie is fucked..
Duckett is nothing but a short yardage guy who never lived up to the hype..
I dont like the Broncos, but they got the better end of this deal imo..
Deadskins are playing for Superbowl or Bust...

I'll say this about Vick, he has a legit excuse because that team hasn't had a half-way decent reciever in a very long time. When your TE is your best reciever, there is a problem.
With Vick getting Lelie, this will give him a chance to show the critics he can throw. If he produces, then everyone will have to eat their words. If not, well he's overrated as a passer.
Duckett has done VERY well in pre-season so far, going for 96 yards on only 15 carries (6.4 YPC average).
He rushed for 8 TD's last season and could give the Redskins a great short-yardage/goaline back if Portis can't go and they have to rely on Ladell Betts as a starter.

Lelie is there for a 3rd WR spot.......
Alge is a good TE, no doubt about that..but his(vick) Running game influence is all he has..
Running game usually opens up the passing game or
Passing game opens up running lanes..
Vick couldnt hit a fan in the crowd if it was the superbowl...
Jenkins will never be good with Vick as his QB..
Roddy White was more of a Potential pick and i can understand why people say his WR core is weak..
But they've tried everything with Alge,Jenkins, Peereles Price, Dunn & Duckett..pretty good cast right there, too bad Vick is overrated and has poor work ethics.
They were / still are shopping for Betts to be traded..

So who do you think is the no. 2 guy, the main backup? Betts or Duckett? Cause I picked up Betts the other day when I heard about the injury.

I'd say thats a pretty good question and I have no answer for you.
I'm sure Duckett is going to get a pretty healthy amount of goaline carries like he did in ATL, so if you have an available roster spot, I'd pick him up and use him for when one of your main back's has a bye.

Duckett....
I wouldn't be so quick with that seeing as how Betts knows the offense and has practiced with the current roster.

Just watched Len Pasquarelli's take on the trade at ESPN.com and he said that Portis starting week one is dicey and that Betts is somewhat banged up too. Looks like Duckett could be the #1 guy if Portis can't go in week 1.
Lelie could easily emerge as the Falcons #1 or #2 reciever during the season and could be a good fantasy pickup later on in the season. SVT, if you can afford to keep him for a little while and see how he pans out, you might have picked up a good player.
I like this trade for a number of reasons. The first being I am a hardcore Denver fan and have never liked Lelie because he is a pussy, sucks at blocking for the run game, and doesn't like to go to the middle of the field. I have no doubt that Vick can get him the ball. Vick has a cannon of an arm, but just hasn't learned how to use it yet. Secondly, if Denver finishes with a better record than Washington this year, Denver will get Washington's FIRST AND THIRD round picks for 2007. Denver made out best in this deal, which makes me happy.

Interesting... Ducket is still available in my fantasy league, but I don't think he is the number 2 guy behind Portis. Hmm, I wonder if Brandon Lloyd is worthy of picking up with all the bang ups in the Washington backfield.
TJ Duckett's playing time will be heavily slashed due to Washington having what ATL doesn't, a dominant #1 running back.

I don't know if I agree with you on that one. Dunn is a stud who in the middle of his career got banged up, and since coming to ATL he has never averaged less than 4.0 yds a carry in a season.
