Fined $10,000 for unauthorized cleats.

I figured he would have learned that the NFL stands for the "No Fun League" after his jersey number request was denied.

You're an idiot it says in the link that Adidas took care of the fine, LOL. Come on Jr. get a grip you're looking like a rookie again.

Yeah, they took care of it alright...right off of his contract. Yeah, its pennies to him/them, but its funny to me that he thinks he can try to circumvent the NFL's contract with Nike/Reebok.

Trying to beat the NFL is a no-win situation. Ask Maurice Clarett and Mike Williams.

Well they didn't come out on the field and remove his shoes seems to me Adidas and Bush both made their point LOL.

I highly doubt they will let him wear them anymore. I'm sure he's been contacted about it by the league. Reggie Bush isn't important enough to put the NFL's contract with Nike/Reebok in jeopardy.

the NFL will fine you for anything, remember last season with the whole Socks thing with Portis, Moss and Sean Taylor...

It's penny to them so they dont really worry.

Yep, they have people standing on the sidelines watching all the players to make sure their uniforms are all within the guidelines.

If he continues, they'll start upping the fines to where it won't just be pennies.

Heck, they wouldn't even let Jake Plummer wear a Pat Tillman number sticker on his helmet because of the rules. I can't remember how much they fined him, but he took it off after they threatend to make it big.

I bet he gets away with it in court, just like jerry jones did with the whole pepsi thing. but that is only if adidas steps up to push the issue but they really don't have to, the nfl is doing all the advertising for them, by saying they have to slow down the best player in the draft by making him wear nike.

adidas should pay me for this one.

If they wouldn't let Plummer wear a sticker, why are they going to let Bush wear shoes? They will eventually make it to where it isn't economical for him to continue to wear them during games.

they said the same thing to jones and look how that turned out. plus they only need one or two more times in those shoes with him doing good and they have their market material.
