Who Knows Any Fake Fans?

Here at work football trash talk has long been started. I can respect guys backing their respective teams and all. But what irritates me the most is when somebody makes the statement of they are positive a team is going to the super bowl.
Case in point............. a cowboy " fan " just stated that he knows for a fact dallas will be playing in the superbowl at the end of the season. I ask, " are you sure?" he says 100%. He asks if I want to bet and I ask how much. His response is........ " how much do you want to lose?" so I pull out 3 hundred bucks ( just went to the bank this morning ;) )and try to make the bet. He then says no because he wants to wait to see how the QB situation pans out. He says Bledsoe sucks and wants Romo in there. That he will bet me then if Romo gets the nod.
What do you guys think? My favorite team is the Titans ( followed them from the oiler era, not a Texan fan because Titans still wear the oiler blue). But I am not a Vince Young is gonna save the world person either. I will be content with a 500. season. They still have a few issues to fix before they get back in contention. And I know this. I dont make up excuses as to why they win or lose. But putting it all on one player is crazy in the NFL. In college their may be an arguement. Any of you experience this type of BS?

I'm a cowboys fan and there is no way in hell the boys will make it to the superbowl....but Jerry signed T.O to make a superbowl run. Cause Bill will retire next year. Charlie Weis could be the next coach of the cowboys....

I'm a real Cowboy fan; I like them when they win (although I still tolerate them when they don't :o); and I'll wait to pass judgement on Owens until after he starts winning and/or tearing the team apart from the inside out.
