Well the tale of the tapes is in on VY and RB's pro debut.
Bush:
59 yards on 6 carries
10 yards on 2 catches
Young:
4 for 11 for 56 yards
4 carries for 28 yards

Reggie Bush looks every bit as good in the NFL as he did at Southern California.
Vince Young is a fan favorite, but needs to learn when to throw the ball away.
Those are the first to sentences of the story.

I was on gotitans.com tonight since the game wasn't on here. They said several of the passes from VY were right in the hands of the reciever and they simply dropped/bobbled them.
He also had a 16 yarder taken away because of an offensive hold.
The Titans don't have alot of depth beyond their starters so I'm not surprised by the drops.
This must have been a really weird night because the Titans supposedly had a player arrested before the game for DUI and then the Titans' mascot hits the Saints' backup QB, Adrian McPhearson, with a golf cart. :o

Yeah, I just saw the thing about McPhearson getting hit by the golf cart.
In the story, it talks of how VY showed off the strength in his arm and put a 50 yard bullet into one of the reciever's hands but was dropped. Just says he has to learn when to throw the ball away instead of trying to do too much or taking a hit.
Either way, both look like they are starting off in the right direction and could help their respective teams.

Yeah, the only good WR's that the Titans have are Drew Bennett and David Givens. All the rest of the guys they have aren't that great.

I think Troupe will end up being a pretty solid TE and they have some young guys that could develope, just going to take time.
On a side note it looks as if Matt Jones had a big night and is developing like they thought he would.

I'd take all the #'s put up with a grain of salt seeing as how most of the defensive starters don't play but 1 to 2 series.
Jacksonville had 4 recieving TD's over 50 yards. Miami isn't known for their defensive prowess either.

err, um, listen to it, or follow it online, or whatever. I figured it was on cable, which we took out (fuck Time Warner). I had to break out the Lightning and tow a Cheby home, so I missed most of everything tonight.

He sure did alot more than your boy Reggie McNeal with his whopping 1 catch for 15 yards and 1 rush for 9 yards tonight.
He'll be lucky if he makes that roster.

I'm not comparing young to aggies in the NFL, but to the rest of your "Future Hall of Famers" that you guys tout so much and then they fail miserably.
How's Ricky doing in Cananananada? Has he even played since he got hurt in the first game?

Ricky didn't get hurt in his first game. He got hurt in the 5th game.
Still, 57 rushes for 231 yards and 4.1 YPC is pretty good for a league that doesn't run hardly at all and uses RB's as screen recievers.
Here is a list of active 'Horns in the NFL:

Pretty long list of quality players.
Too bad for you the greatest claim to fame for the Aggies in the NFL right now is Shane Lechler, the punter for the Raiders.

honestly you guys just need to let it go about players in the NFL..
This forum is based more on Big 12 COLLEGE Football rather then talkin about NFL...
Great RB or VY did good in there season opener..dont let all the non-sense go on about what college they went to and what they did in the past..
I wish the best for every damn player in the NFL, except when they play against the Cowboys :p
