SCYTEK Galaxy 5100RS (http://www.scytek.net/product_galaxy_combo_5100RS.html)
My dad has a cheaper Scytek and it works really well. No 2way just remote start. I can get a good deal on this alarm, and that color LCD screen would be killer.
Do not know a whole lot on skytek, but they have been around for a while. They are the only company that i know of utilizing a color screen with camera. We looked at the line when first released, as was just kind of expensive we felt as a dealer. If you do the alarm, let us know how it works out for you.

The range sucks balls compared to a Clifford. Mine won't remote start from inside my office which is about 50 feet from my parking spot. Outside, without a metal wall it's good for maybe 200 feet. This also means the feedback portion of the 2 way side isn't going to work. The transmitter batteries last a lot longer though, I get 3 months out of it instead of 1. However I can buy lots of AAA batteries for what my $500 deductible is.
Their LED is very bright and highly visible and so far has done it's job.
My Clifford in comparison would work from the back of the bleachers on the pit side at Kennedale when I parked across on the spectator side about half way to the fence. Well over an 1/8th mile with a fresh battery.
It's a good product and the range might be fine for you. Me being used to Clifford though, makes it seem a little weak. If it's a matter of $100 or so difference go with Clifford, more than that and I'd probably buy Scytek again.

My friend has a Clifford alarm and he hates it. Most of the time my friend alarm wont go from his room to his car in the driveway. My dads cheap Scytek goes all the way down the street, and the model I want has a better range.
This model is not the one with the Camera, but has the same remote.
Anyone know what the feature is with hooking it up to your computer to set things up?

Which model Clifford? Matrix, G4, G5?
Some alarms, like Clifford G5 models, allow you to plug a computer into the alarm brain to set valet code, passive arming options, siren sounds, chirp volume, ignition controlled door lock operation, run time on remote start, etc, etc. DEI use a product called a bit writer.

My Clifford has a decent range and its not even two way. You know how I'd always park all the way out at the end of the parking lot? The remote start would work from well before the crossroad, so its probably got an 1/8th mile range or so.

Ahh that is pretty far. I am buying that Scytek system tomorrow. :) Anyone know what is needed to make the windows roll up if it starts to rain? There must be a sensor that opens a ground when it becomes wet.

Yeah, the Clifford Matrix models are rebadged Viper, Python, Sidewinder, etc models. They need to take it back to the installer that did it and have them test the unit, remote, antenna, and possibly change the antenna location. The range should be great.
There are rain sensors and window modules available to put the windows up if they detect water.

Do you know where I can buy the sensor?

Hey Eric, I know smart windows is available for the G5, I have been thinking lately about adding that to mine, is the rain sensor you spoke of available for the G5 line as well?
I don't know if DEI offers the rain sensor. Smartwindows4 is compatible with G5 models.
