Westway Ford is currently looking for 3 or 4 technicians. These positions would be for helpers, we do not currently need any lead techs. We do need a few folks who can work on Auto Trans and Diesel's. If you are interested just shoot me a pm and i'll give the contact info.

Please, if you have anything negative to say about the company I work for keep it out of my thread.

helpers dont need much.

I got 10 ASEs and almost all Ford Factory Creditentals, and with tenure Id be a Master Tech.

Ill start at 27 an hour if you really need diesel techs.

SonicBlue, just come fill out an app and see. A little experience would help but you don't need to be a master tech.

360 notch - I'll check but I don't think we need anymore lead diesel techs right now.

Yes, it's still teams right now. I'm not sure what the pay scale is, I don't deal with the money part.

Westway is an OK place to work but Teams suck- in my opinion. The shop foreman there is great to work for, not fond of the rest of mgmt. Pay was $18 flag hour per person when I was there (January '06) but team leader sets the pay. So he can pay you 10, take the other 8 and pay him or one of the other techs more than 18 or split it as a bonus. Hard shop to move up at. Dispatch guys are cool for that type of set up. Not bad if you need an entry level slot and like Fords and large volumes of trucks.
Overall not a bad place for a domestic dealer. I still take my vehicles there for warranty work and have no real issues. So bump for them.
